Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Shop till you drop at South Coast WoodWorks Gallery and Albany Town Hall. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Greens Pool and Little Beach, Two Peoples Bay Nature Reserve. Change things up with these side-trips from Albany: Anvil Beach, Nullaki Peninsula (in Denmark) and Lowlands Beach (in Lowlands). A low-rise, laid-back town of approximately 4,500 inhabitants, Margaret River serves as an ideal local base to explore the surrounding wine region.

Exmouth is a town on the tip of the North West Cape in Western Australia. On the 16th (Thu), see what you can catch with a fishing tour and then take a memorable tour with Tours.
