Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
You'll get in some beach time at Greens Pool and Little Beach. Get some cultural insight at National Anzac Centre and Singlefile Wines. Explore Albany's surroundings by going to Anvil Beach (in Denmark), Cheynes Beach (in Waychinicup National Park) and Cosy Corner Beach (in Kronkup). The adventure continues: kick back and relax at Lowlands Beach, explore the striking landscape at The Gap and Natural Bridge, admire the masterpieces at Vancouver Arts Centre, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Goode Beach.
