Ulverstone is a town on the northern coast of Tasmania, Australia on the mouth of the Leven River, on Bass Strait. On the 5th (Sun), identify plant and animal life at Wings Wildlife Park, Head underground at Gunns Plains Caves, and then take in breathtaking views at Leven Canyon. On the 6th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: examine the collection at Don River Railway, browse for treasures at Antique Emporium, then get engrossed in the history at Bass Strait Maritime Centre, and finally enjoy the sand and surf at Coles Beach.

Overlooking one of Tasmania's most scenic strips of coastline and serving as the gateway to Freycinet National Park, Coles Bay is home to just 500 permanent residents.
Take a break from the city and head to Honeymoon Bay and Wineglass Bay Lookout. You'll explore and learn at Tasmanian Wool Centre. and Kings Fine Art Gallery. When in Coles Bay, make a side trip to see Melshell Oysters in Swansea, approximately 46 minutes away. Spend the 11th (Sat) exploring nature at Freycinet National Park. There's lots more to do: kick back and relax at Wineglass Bay, look for all kinds of wild species at Friendly Beaches, do a tasting at Devil's Corner Cellar Door, and see the interesting displays at Bicheno's Motorcycle Museum & Restoration.
