Exmouth

Exmouth is a town on the tip of the North West Cape in Western Australia. Take a break from Exmouth with a short trip to Ningaloo Marine Park in Coral Bay, about 52 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: look for all kinds of wild species at Wildlife Areas, enjoy the sea views from Vlamingh Head Lighthouse, discover the deep blue sea with Turquoise Bay, and see the vivid underwater world at Ningaloo Reef.

Esperance is a town in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia, on the Southern Ocean coastline approximately 720km east-southeast of the state capital, Perth. Spend the 4th (Mon) exploring nature at Cape Le Grand National Park. And it doesn't end there: enjoy the sand and surf at Twilight Bay, make a trip to Ten Mile Lagoon Wind Farm, stroll through Salmon Beach, and head off the coast to Woody Island.

Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Change things up with these side-trips from Albany: Denmark (Anvil Beach, Elephant Rocks, & more) and Cheynes Beach (in Waychinicup National Park). A low-rise, laid-back town of approximately 4,500 inhabitants, Margaret River serves as an ideal local base to explore the surrounding wine region.
