Exmouth

Exmouth is a town on the tip of the North West Cape in Western Australia. Do some cultural sightseeing at Ningaloo Centre and The Ningaloo Gallery. Get outdoors at Turquoise Bay and Ningaloo Reef. And it doesn't end there: take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports, explore the gorgeous colors at Ningaloo Coast World Heritage Area, enjoy the sand and surf at Wobiri Beach, and soothe aching muscles at some of the top local wellness centers.

Esperance is a town in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia, on the Southern Ocean coastline approximately 720km east-southeast of the state capital, Perth. Take a break from the city and head to Cape Le Grand National Park and Blue Haven Beach. You'll get in some beach time at Twilight Bay and Lucky Bay. There's much more to do: kick back and relax at Thistle Cove, tour the pleasant surroundings at Esperance Foreshore, and don't miss a visit to Ten Mile Lagoon Wind Farm.

Fly from Exmouth to Esperance in 6.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight and bus; or drive. When traveling from Exmouth in March, plan for much colder days in Esperance, with highs around 30°C, while nights are a bit cooler with lows around 17°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 21st (Thu) so you can go by car to Albany.

Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Greens Pool and Lowlands Beach. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like National Anzac Centre and Singlefile Wines. Venture out of the city with trips to Anvil Beach (in Denmark), Cosy Corner Beach (in Kronkup) and Cheynes Beach (in Waychinicup National Park). There's lots more to do: stroll through Little Beach, enjoy the sand and surf at Misery Beach, take in the dramatic natural features at The Gap and Natural Bridge, and admire the striking features of The Church of Saint John the Evangelist.

A low-rise, laid-back town of approximately 4,500 inhabitants, Margaret River serves as an ideal local base to explore the surrounding wine region.
Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse and Carpe Diem Vineyards are good opportunities to explore the local culture. You'll get in some beach time at Meelup Beach and Hamelin Bay. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Margaret River: Yallingup Beach (in Yallingup) and Busselton Jetty (in Busselton). Spend the 27th (Wed) on a tasty journey with a beer tour and tasting.
