For shopping fun, head to Robina Town Shopping Centre or Queen Street Mall. Discover out-of-the-way places like Kings Beach and Kurrawa Beach. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Brisbane: Maleny Cheese (in Maleny), Bee Gees Way (in Redcliffe) and Bulcock Beach (in Caloundra). In January in Brisbane, expect temperatures between 34°C during the day and 25°C at night. On the 12th (Sat), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can travel to Cairns.
