Do some cultural sightseeing at Village Gallery and St Monica's Cathedral. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Palm Cove Beach and Trinity Beach. Explore Cairns' surroundings by going to Hartley's Crocodile Adventures (in Palm Cove) and Port Douglas (Wildlife Habitat Port Douglas, Four Mile Beach, & more). Fly from Cairns to Brisbane in 5.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight and bus; or drive. In December, Brisbane is little chillier than Cairns - with highs of 32°C and lows of 23°C. On the 29th (Sat), you'll have the morning to explore before heading off to Sydney.
