A relaxed town of tree-shaded streets and scenic coastal stretches, Broome gained renown as a center of the pearling industry in the late 19th century.
Spend the 24th (Thu) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. Margaret River

A low-rise, laid-back town of approximately 4,500 inhabitants, Margaret River serves as an ideal local base to explore the surrounding wine region.
Take a break from Margaret River with a short trip to Busselton Jetty in Busselton, about 42 minutes away. Spend the 25th (Fri) on a tasty journey with a beer tour and tasting. And it doesn't end there: indulge your taste buds at Food & Drink, explore the fascinating underground world of Mammoth Cave, and have some family-friendly fun at Amaze'n Margaret River.

Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Venture out of the city with trips to Bluff Knoll (in Stirling Range National Park) and Greens Pool (in Denmark). There's lots more to do: see the interesting displays at National Anzac Centre, pause for some photo ops at Desert Mounted Corps Memorial, kick back and relax at Little Beach, and explore the striking landscape at The Gap and Natural Bridge.

Getting from Margaret River to Albany by car takes about 4.5 hours. Other options: take a bus; or do a combination of bus and flight. Esperance is a town in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia, on the Southern Ocean coastline approximately 720km east-southeast of the state capital, Perth. Spend the 31st (Thu) exploring nature at Cape Le Grand National Park. Exmouth is a town on the tip of the North West Cape in Western Australia. Start off your visit on the 3rd (Sun): don't miss a visit to Potshot Memorial, tour the pleasant surroundings at Mauritius Beach, then discover the deep blue sea with Turquoise Bay, and finally view the masterpieces at The Ningaloo Gallery.
