Richmond is a town in Tasmania about 25 km north-east of Hobart, in the Coal River region, between the Midland Highway and Tasman Highway. Kick off your visit on the 10th (Wed): stop by The Wicked Cheese Co., stroll through Seven Mile Beach, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at St John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, then browse the exhibits of Richmond Gaol, and finally take in the views from Richmond Bridge. Queensland’s biggest town and state capital, Brisbane has an attractive, manicured image based around its riverside aesthetic as well as the contrast between its high-rise center and extensive urban greenery.
Visiting Kirra Beach and Coolangatta Beach will get you outdoors. We've included these beaches for you: Burleigh Head National Park and Kurrawa Beach. Venture out of the city with trips to Robina Town Shopping Centre (in Robina), Maleny (Maleny Dairies & Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve) and Surfers Paradise Golf Club (in Clear Island Waters). On the 17th (Wed), enjoy an adventurous day among the treetops at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks.
