Ulverstone is a town on the northern coast of Tasmania, Australia on the mouth of the Leven River, on Bass Strait. Get in touch with nature at Leven Canyon and Marion's Lookout Walk. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Gunns Plains Caves and Fern Glade Reserve. Step out of Ulverstone to go to Cradle Mountain-Lake St. Clair National Park and see Devils @ Cradle, which is approximately 1h 10 min away. There's still lots to do: identify plant and animal life at Wings Wildlife Park, admire the sheer force of Preston Falls, and get a taste of local nightlife at Turners Beach Berry Patch.
