The state of Victoria crown jewel, Melbourne boasts shaded streets, leafy residential neighborhoods, vibrant street life, and a picturesque city center.
Visit Shrine of Remembrance and Cooks' Cottage for their historical value. Get some cultural insight at Melbourne Museum and National Gallery of Victoria. When in Melbourne, make a side trip to see The Great Ocean Road in Torquay, approximately 1h 20 min away. Lent iconic status as a result of its famous bridge and opera house, Sydney has a down-to-earth charm that enhances its spectacular setting and functional efficiency.
Visit Bondi Beach and Manly Beach for some beach relaxation. Get some cultural insight at The Rocks and Sydney Opera House. There's lots more to do: trek along Bondi to Coogee Beach Coastal Walk, explore the striking landscape at Mrs Macquarie's Chair, get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Sea Life Sydney Aquarium, and tour the pleasant surroundings at The Opera House to the Botanic Gardens Walk.

Queensland’s biggest town and state capital, Brisbane has an attractive, manicured image based around its riverside aesthetic as well as the contrast between its high-rise center and extensive urban greenery.
Old St Stephen's Catholic Church (Pugin Chapel) and Nepalese Pagoda will appeal to history buffs. Get a sense of the local culture at Queensland Museum & Sciencentre and Gallery of Modern Art. Step out of Brisbane to go to Main Beach and see Sea World Theme Park, which is approximately 1h 30 min away. There's still lots to do: identify plant and animal life at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, examine the collection at Opal Museum, explore the world behind art at Queensland Art Gallery, and get your game on at Psychic Readings Twin Featherz.
