A lush headland that's part of the forested Daintree Region, Cape Tribulation was so named by Lieutenant--later Captain--Cook in 1770, when his ship ran aground in the area.
Visiting Myall Beach and Daintree Rainforest - Cooper Creek Wilderness will get you outdoors. You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Cape Tribulation Beach and Cow Bay Beach. Take a break from Cape Tribulation with a short trip to Daintree Discovery Centre in Cow Bay, about 30 minutes away. Spend the 27th (Fri) exploring nature at Daintree National Park.
