A relaxed town of tree-shaded streets and scenic coastal stretches, Broome gained renown as a center of the pearling industry in the late 19th century.
Get some historical perspective at Catholic Diocese of Broome and Japanese Cemetery. Museum-lovers will get to explore The Courthouse Collection and Broome Historical Museum. Spend the 31st (Thu) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. Zurich, Switzerland to Broome is an approximately 24-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train, bus, and flight; or do a combination of train and flight. Esperance is a town in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia, on the Southern Ocean coastline approximately 720km east-southeast of the state capital, Perth. You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Cape Le Grand National Park and Twilight Bay. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Cindy Poole Glass Gallery and Esperance Museum. There's still lots to do: look for all kinds of wild species at Thistle Cove, stop by Mermaid Leather, kick back and relax at Salmon Beach, and tour the pleasant surroundings at West Beach.

You can fly from Broome to Esperance in 6.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight and car; or drive. Traveling from Broome in November, you will find days in Esperance are slightly colder (28°C), and nights are much colder (13°C). Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Wed) so you can drive to Albany.

Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Museum-lovers will appreciate National Anzac Centre and Torbay Glass Studio. We've included these beaches for you: Greens Pool and Little Beach. Explore Albany's surroundings by going to Rising Star Winery (in Denmark) and South Coast WoodWorks Gallery (in Youngs Siding). And it doesn't end there: get engrossed in the history at Albany's Historic Whaling Station, explore the world behind art at Vancouver Arts Centre, browse the collection at Albany Public Library, and kick back and relax at Middleton Beach.

Traveling from Esperance in November, expect nights in Albany to be about the same, around 12°C, while days are a bit cooler, around 25°C. A low-rise, laid-back town of approximately 4,500 inhabitants, Margaret River serves as an ideal local base to explore the surrounding wine region.
Get some cultural insight at JahRoc Galleries and ArtGeo Cultural Complex. Head to Sensei Pots Art Gallery Yallingup and Tracie Anderson Ceramicsfor plenty of shopping. Explore Margaret River's surroundings by going to Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse (in Augusta), Meelup Beach (in Dunsborough) and Busselton (Busselton Jetty & Dolphin & Whale Watching). A modern metropolis of glassy skyscrapers, waterside boulevards, and lush residential neighborhoods, Perth sits on the edge of the Swan Coastal Plain.
Shop till you drop at Fremantle Markets and Japingka Gallery. Museum-lovers will get to explore Fremantle Prison and Illusionary Art. Get out of town with these interesting Perth side-trips: Caversham Wildlife Park (in Whiteman) and Glen Cowans' Studio at the Roundhouse (in Fremantle). Exmouth

Exmouth is a town on the tip of the North West Cape in Western Australia. Visiting Shark Diving and Ningaloo Reef will get you outdoors. Vlamingh Head Lighthouse and The Ningaloo Gallery are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Step out of Exmouth with an excursion to Ningaloo Marine Park in Coral Bay--about 52 minutes away. There's lots more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Turquoise Bay, identify plant and animal life at Muiron Islands, explore the gorgeous colors at Ningaloo Coast World Heritage Area, and soothe aching muscles at some of the top local wellness centers.

You can fly from Perth to Exmouth in 5.5 hours. Other options are to do a combination of flight and car; or drive. Expect somewhat warmer temperatures when traveling from Perth in November; daily highs in Exmouth reach 41°C and lows reach 22°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 22nd (Fri) to allow time for travel back home.
