Exmouth

Exmouth is a town on the tip of the North West Cape in Western Australia. Get some cultural insight at Ningaloo Centre and The Ningaloo Gallery. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Turquoise Bay and Ningaloo Coast World Heritage Area. The adventure continues: explore the gorgeous colors at Ningaloo Reef, soothe aching muscles at some of the top local wellness centers, stroll through Wobiri Beach, and choose your vessel at Ningaloo Car & Boat Hire.

Munich, Germany to Exmouth is an approximately 32-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and bus; or do a combination of flight and car. The time zone changes from Central European Time to Australian Western Standard Time, which is usually a 7 hour difference. Prepare for much hotter weather when traveling from Munich in February: high temperatures in Exmouth hover around 44°C and lows are around 28°C. Esperance is a town in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia, on the Southern Ocean coastline approximately 720km east-southeast of the state capital, Perth. Get outdoors at Cape Le Grand National Park and Twilight Bay. We've included these beaches for you: Lucky Bay and Ten Mile Lagoon. There's still lots to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Thistle Cove, don't miss a visit to Esperance Whale Tail, tour the pleasant surroundings at Hellfire Bay, and admire all the interesting features of Great Ocean Drive.

You can fly from Exmouth to Esperance in 6.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight and bus; or drive. Expect little chillier temperatures when traveling from Exmouth in February; daily highs in Esperance reach 32°C and lows reach 17°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 11th (Mon) to allow time to drive to Albany.

Albany

Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Take a break from the city and head to Greens Pool and Little Beach. Do some cultural sightseeing at National Anzac Centre and The Church of Saint John the Evangelist. Explore Albany's surroundings by going to Cosy Corner Beach (in Kronkup), Denmark (Lights Beach, Elephant Rocks, & more) and Cheynes Beach (in Waychinicup National Park). There's still lots to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Lowlands Beach, stroll through Misery Beach, get great views at Convoy Lookout, and appreciate the history behind Desert Mounted Corps Memorial.

Getting from Esperance to Albany by car takes about 5 hours. Other options: fly; or take a bus. In February, daytime highs in Albany are 29°C, while nighttime lows are 16°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 16th (Sat) to allow time to drive to Margaret River.

A low-rise, laid-back town of approximately 4,500 inhabitants, Margaret River serves as an ideal local base to explore the surrounding wine region.
Get some cultural insight at Cape Grace Wines and Juniper Margaret River. Relax by the water at Meelup Beach and Hamelin Bay. Venture out of the city with trips to Yallingup (Yallingup Beach & Ngilgi Cave), Bunker Bay (in Cape Naturaliste) and Busselton Jetty (in Busselton). A modern metropolis of glassy skyscrapers, waterside boulevards, and lush residential neighborhoods, Perth sits on the edge of the Swan Coastal Plain.
Fremantle Prison and The Perth Mint are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Cottesloe Beach and Scarborough Beach.
