Queensland Art Gallery and West End are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Visit Surfer's Paradise Beach and Burleigh Heads Beach for some beach relaxation. Step out of Brisbane with an excursion to Wolston Farmhouse in Wacol--about 36 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: let little ones run wild at South Bank Parklands, get lost in a book at State Library Of Queensland, steep yourself in history at Newstead House, and snap pictures at Victoria Bridge Abutment.
