A lush headland that's part of the forested Daintree Region, Cape Tribulation was so named by Lieutenant--later Captain--Cook in 1770, when his ship ran aground in the area.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Cape Trib Farm and Walu Wugirriga Lookout. Do some cultural sightseeing at Daintree Discovery Centre and Floravilla Ice Cream Factory. When in Cape Tribulation, make a side trip to see Photography Tours in Daintree, approximately 1 hour away. Spend the 14th (Wed) exploring nature at Daintree National Park. There's more to do: look for all kinds of wild species at Daintree Rainforest - Cooper Creek Wilderness and take in nature's colorful creations at Marrdja Botanical Walk.
