Ararat is a city in south-west Victoria, Australia, about 198km west of Melbourne, on the Western Highway on the eastern slopes of the Ararat Hills and Cemetery Creek valley between Victoria's Western District and the Wimmera. On the 8th (Sat), get all the information you need at Ararat and Grampians Visitor Information Centre, do a tasting at Grampians Estate, and then learn about winemaking at Montara Winery.

On the 9th (Sun), trek along Chatauqua Peak, get to know the resident critters at Halls Gap Zoo, then learn about winemaking at Pomonal Estate, and finally steep yourself in history at Bunjil's Shelter. On the 10th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in the dramatic scenery at Burrong Falls, then take in the awesome beauty at The Picaninny (Bainggug), and then stroll through Mt Sturgeon.
