Gulgong is a 19th-century gold rush town in the Central Tablelands and the wider Central West regions of the Australian state of New South Wales. Step out of the city life by going to Wellington Caves & Phosphate Mine and Bylong Valley Way. Explore hidden gems such as Burrendong Arboretum and Cameron Park. Get out of town with these interesting Gulgong side-trips: Osawano Japanese Garden (in Wellington) and Lue Pottery (in Lue). There's more to do: examine the collection at Gulgong Pioneers Museum.

For ratings and other tourist information, read Gulgong day trip planning site .

In March, plan for daily highs up to 32°C, and evening lows to 17°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 3rd (Sun) to allow enough time to travel back home.
