Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Get outdoors at Middleton Beach and Greens Pool. You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Little Beach and Cheynes Beach. Go for a jaunt from Albany to Kronkup to see Cosy Corner Beach about 32 minutes away.
