Port Douglas

A holiday in Port Douglas balances an activity-filled getaway with plenty of opportunities to relax, thanks to its proximity to the Great Barrier Reef and bustling beach life.

Adelaide Oval and St Peter's Cathedral will appeal to history buffs. You'll get in some beach time at Henley Beach and Aldinga Beach. Get out of town with these interesting Adelaide side-trips: Langmeil Winery (in Tanunda), St George's Anglican Church (in Gawler) and The Cedars (in Hahndorf). Dedicate the 13th (Sun) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area.
