Longreach is a town in Central West Queensland, Australia approximately 700km from the coast, west of Rockhampton. Your inner history buff will appreciate Camden Park Station and Longreach Powerhouse Museum. Appreciate the collections at QANTAS Founders Museum and Outback Pics. When in Longreach, make a side trip to see Langenbaker House in Ilfracombe, approximately 42 minutes away. A neat, cosmopolitan city of shaded plazas and laid-back neighborhoods, Cairns serves as a popular base for exploration of the surrounding region and the Great Barrier Reef, as well as a center for watersport activities like surfing or waterskiing.
Shop till you drop at Village Gallery and Underart Gallery. Appreciate the collections at Bones and Jones and Samurai Gallery Australia. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Cairns: Palm Cove (Spas & Wellness & Palm Cove Beach). Spend the 3rd (Wed) among aquatic life with a scuba or snorkeling tour.
