Coles Bay

Overlooking one of Tasmania's most scenic strips of coastline and serving as the gateway to Freycinet National Park, Coles Bay is home to just 500 permanent residents.
You'll get in some beach time at Wineglass Bay Lookout and Honeymoon Bay. Get a sense of the local culture at Cape Tourville Lighthouse and Devil's Corner Cellar Door. Take a break from Coles Bay with a short trip to East Coast Natureworld in Bicheno, about 30 minutes away. Spend the 12th (Fri) exploring nature at Freycinet National Park. There's still lots to do: get a dose of the wild on a nature and wildlife tour, experience rural life at Freycinet Marine Farm, and take in the waterfront at Coles Bay Jetty.
