Step out of the city life by going to Dolphin & Whale Watching and Cape Byron Walking Track. Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Tweed Regional Gallery & Margaret Olley Art Centre and Byron Bay Cookies Retail Store. Explore Byron Bay's surroundings by going to Ballina Naval & Maritime Museum (in Ballina) and Nimbin Rocks (in Nimbin). There's lots more to do: enjoy the sea views from Cape Byron Lighthouse, get great views at Broken Head Nature Reserve, enjoy the sand and surf at Lennox Head Beach, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Belongil Beach.

You'll get in some beach time at Surfers Paradise Beach and Burleigh Heads Beach. Step out of the city life by going to David Fleay Wildlife Park and Burleigh Head National Park. When in Gold Coast, make a side trip to see Fingal Head Lighthouse in Fingal Head, approximately 38 minutes away. There's still lots to do: browse the different shops at Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, pause for some serene contemplation at St Vincent's Catholic Church, tee off at Surfers Paradise Golf Club, and see the interesting displays at Ripley's Believe It Or Not! Surfers Paradise.
