Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like National Anzac Centre and Anvil Beach. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Albany: Denmark (Elephant Rocks, Greens Pool, & more), Bluff Knoll (in Stirling Range National Park) and The Denmark Heritage Cider Company (in Scotsdale).
