A modern metropolis of glassy skyscrapers, waterside boulevards, and lush residential neighborhoods, Perth sits on the edge of the Swan Coastal Plain.
Venture out of the city with trips to Dolphin & Whale Watching (in Mandurah), Caversham Wildlife Park (in Whiteman) and Fremantle (Fremantle Prison, Fremantle Markets, & more). Exmouth

Exmouth is a town on the tip of the North West Cape in Western Australia. Spend the 7th (Fri) on the water with a fishing tour. There's still lots to do: get a new perspective on things with Boat Tours & Water Sports, explore the stunning scenery at Charles Knife Canyon, look for all kinds of wild species at Ningaloo Coast World Heritage Area, and enjoy the sand and surf at Turquoise Bay.

You can fly from Perth to Exmouth in 5.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight and car; or drive. Traveling from Perth in June, things will get a bit warmer in Exmouth: highs are around 28°C and lows about 15°C. Broome

A relaxed town of tree-shaded streets and scenic coastal stretches, Broome gained renown as a center of the pearling industry in the late 19th century.
Spend the 10th (Mon) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. On the 15th (Sat), spend a fun day on foot with Walking tours. Darwin

The smallest of Australia’s state capitals, Darwin has nevertheless become an attractive and important urban center, being simultaneously one of the country’s most modernized cities and a gateway to both the Top End region and South East Asia.
When in Darwin, make a side trip to see Litchfield National Park in Batchelor, approximately 1h 20 min away. Spend the 17th (Mon) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. Plan for a day of cool, family-friendly fun on the 21st (Fri) at Darwin Waterfront. There's lots more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Mindil Beach, explore the striking landscape at Berry Springs Nature Park, brush up on your military savvy at Darwin Aviation Museum, and identify plant and animal life at Crocosaurus Cove.
