Prahran is an inner suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 5 km south-east of Melbourne's Central Business District. Take a break from the city and head to Dandenong Ranges National Park and Koala Conservation Centre. Get out of town with these interesting Prahran side-trips: Pinnacles Lookout (in Cape Woolamai), San Remo Fisherman's Co-op and Pelican Parade (in San Remo) and Mornington (Baluk Arts, Beer Tastings & Tours, & more). Spend the 14th (Sun) exploring nature at Bicentennial Park. There's lots more to do: learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at The Nobbies Centre, step off the mainland to explore Churchill Island, kick back and relax at Brighton Beach, and identify plant and animal life at Maru Koala and Animal Park.

For ratings, more things to do, photos, and tourist information, use the Prahran trip itinerary planner.

If you are flying in from Hong Kong, the closest major airport is Melbourne International Airport. June in Prahran sees daily highs of 16°C and lows of 7°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 15th (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
