A lush headland that's part of the forested Daintree Region, Cape Tribulation was so named by Lieutenant--later Captain--Cook in 1770, when his ship ran aground in the area.
On the 5th (Thu), take a peaceful walk through Daintree Rainforest - Cooper Creek Wilderness, view the masterpieces at Floravilla Ice Cream Factory, and then take in the dramatic scenery at Alexandra Bay Waterfall. Located off of the Great Western Highway, Katoomba is the main hub of the City of Blue Mountains.
Kick off your visit on the 14th (Sat): skim along the rocks with a canyoning and rapelling tour, take in the dramatic scenery at Wentworth Falls, and then stroll through The National Pass. On your second day here, stroll through Perry's Lookdown.
