The state of Victoria crown jewel, Melbourne boasts shaded streets, leafy residential neighborhoods, vibrant street life, and a picturesque city center.
Visiting Melbourne Zoo and Werribee Open Range Zoo will get you outdoors. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Shrine of Remembrance and Melbourne Museum. Step out of Melbourne to go to Torquay and see The Great Ocean Road, which is approximately 1h 40 min away. Spend the 28th (Wed) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. Queensland’s biggest town and state capital, Brisbane has an attractive, manicured image based around its riverside aesthetic as well as the contrast between its high-rise center and extensive urban greenery.
We've included these beaches for you: Surfer's Paradise Beach and Kings Beach. Get outdoors at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary and Burleigh Head National Park. Get out of town with these interesting Brisbane side-trips: Buderim Forest Park (in Buderim), Mooloolaba Beach (in Mooloolaba) and Speed Boats Tours (in Main Beach). Spend the 22nd (Thu) exploring nature at Conondale National Park.
