Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Western Australian Museum - Albany and The Albany Convict Gaol & Museum. Popular historic sites such as Princess Royal Fortress and The Church of Saint John the Evangelist are in your itinerary. Change things up with these side-trips from Albany: Granite Skywalk (in Porongurup National Park), Elephant Rocks (in Denmark) and Bluff Knoll (in Stirling Range National Park). Exmouth

Exmouth is a town on the tip of the North West Cape in Western Australia. Step off the beaten path and head to Safaris and Ningaloo Reef. Get in touch with nature at Scuba & Snorkeling and Shark Diving. Spend the 9th (Mon) on the water with a fishing tour.
