Adelaide exists contentedly as a cultured, diverse, and attractive city with a laid-back center, leafy residential districts, and an underlying cosmopolitan atmosphere.
Visit Adelaide Oval and Centennial Park Cemetery for their historical value. Escape the urban bustle at Adelaide Zoo and Seacliff Beach. Step out of Adelaide with an excursion to Thaxted Park Golf Club in Woodcroft--about 40 minutes away. There's still lots to do: wander the streets of Rundle Mall, stop by Haigh's Chocolates Beehive Corner, do a tasting at National Wine Centre of Australia, and enjoy the sand and surf at Henley Beach.

Sydney to Adelaide is an approximately 4.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. Expect little chillier evenings in Adelaide when traveling from Sydney in February, with lows around 19°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 20th (Wed) so you can travel back home.
