End: Sydney

A relaxed town of tree-shaded streets and scenic coastal stretches, Broome gained renown as a center of the pearling industry in the late 19th century.
Spend the 4th (Sun) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. There's still lots to do: identify plant and animal life at Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Park and Animal Refuge, take an in-depth tour of Broome Historical Museum, explore the striking landscape at Gantheaume Point, and enjoy the sand and surf at Broome Town Beach.
