A relaxed town of tree-shaded streets and scenic coastal stretches, Broome gained renown as a center of the pearling industry in the late 19th century.
Take a break from the city and head to Cable Beach and Gantheaume Point. We've included these beaches for you: Reddell Beach and Roebuck Bay. Spend the 24th (Wed) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. There's still lots to do: get up close to creatures of the deep with a dolphin and whale watching tour, examine the collection at SSJG Heritage Centre, take in the exciting artwork at Yane Sotiroski Photography Gallery, and explore the galleries of The Courthouse Collection.

Sydney to Broome is an approximately 8.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and train. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 2 hours traveling from Sydney to Broome. When traveling from Sydney in April, plan for much hotter days in Broome, with highs around 40°C, while nights are somewhat warmer with lows around 26°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 27th (Sat) early enough to travel to Coral Bay.

Coral Bay

Coral Bay is a small town on the coast of Western Australia, north of Perth. Step out of the city life by going to Scuba & Snorkeling and Dolphin & Whale Watching. Exmouth

Exmouth is a town on the tip of the North West Cape in Western Australia. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Turquoise Bay and Mauritius Beach. Step out of the city life by going to Shark Diving and Wobiri Beach. A low-rise, laid-back town of approximately 4,500 inhabitants, Margaret River serves as an ideal local base to explore the surrounding wine region.

Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
