Albany

Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Dolphin & Whale Watching and Elephant Rocks. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Emu Point and Middleton Beach. Change things up with these side-trips from Albany: Denmark (Harewood Forest & Greens Pool) and Tree Top Walk (in Walpole).
