Beerwah is a rural town and a locality in the hinterland of the Sunshine Coast Region, Queensland, Australia. Get out of town with these interesting Beerwah side-trips: Pitstop on Mt Mee (in Mount Pleasant), Bribie Island Seaside Museum (in Bongaree) and Somerset Dam (in Somerset Dam). Spend the 15th (Sat) exploring nature at Glass House Mountains National Park. And it doesn't end there: take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mount Ngungun, see human ingenuity at work at Ewen Maddock Dam, examine the collection at Landsborough Museum, and meet the residents at Australia Zoo.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major airports are Brisbane International Airport and Gold Coast Airport. Expect a daytime high around 70°F in June, and nighttime lows around 53°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 17th (Mon) so you can travel back home.
