Hobart

Snaking up the side of a rounded, tree-dotted hill, Hobart sits between Tasmania’s sprawling mountains and the vast estuary of the River Derwent.
Relax by the water at Long Beach and Nutgrove Beach. Escape the urban bustle at Nature & Wildlife Tours and Mount Wellington. There's still lots to do: contemplate the waterfront views at Sandy Bay, contemplate the long history of Cascades Female Factory Historic Site, take in the pleasant sights at Battery Point Sculpture Trail, and take in the spiritual surroundings of St. David's Cathedral.
