Queensland’s biggest town and state capital, Brisbane has an attractive, manicured image based around its riverside aesthetic as well as the contrast between its high-rise center and extensive urban greenery.
You'll explore and learn at Tweed Regional Gallery & Margaret Olley Art Centre and Queensland Maritime Museum. Step off the beaten path and head to Greenmount Beach and Maroochydore Beach. Explore Brisbane's surroundings by going to Mooloolaba (Scuba & Snorkeling, Point Cartwright, & more), Buderim Forest Park (in Buderim) and Sunshine Castle (in Bli Bli). Spend the 30th (Tue) exploring nature at Natural Bridge. Spend the 2nd (Thu) observing fascinating marine mammals with a dolphin and whale watching tour. The adventure continues: enjoy the sand and surf at Bulcock Beach, look for all kinds of wild species at Burleigh Head National Park, see the interesting displays at Museum of Brisbane, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Kurrawa Beach.
