Snaking up the side of a rounded, tree-dotted hill, Hobart sits between Tasmania’s sprawling mountains and the vast estuary of the River Derwent.
On the 30th (Sun), look for gifts at The Wicked Cheese Co., then identify plant and animal life at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, and then browse the different shops at Cat and Fiddle Arcade.

Plan my Hobart trip by asking Inpirock to come up with tips and suggestions.

Brisbane to Hobart is an approximately 5.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight; or do a combination of car and ferry. Prepare for a bit cooler weather when traveling from Brisbane in June: high temperatures in Hobart hover around 15°C and lows are around 5°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 30th (Sun) so you can go by car to Coles Bay.
