The smallest of Australia’s state capitals, Darwin has nevertheless become an attractive and important urban center, being simultaneously one of the country’s most modernized cities and a gateway to both the Top End region and South East Asia.
Venture out of the city with trips to Litchfield National Park (in Batchelor) and Florence Falls (in Litchfield National Park). Spend the 3rd (Tue) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. Plan for a day of cool, family-friendly fun on the 9th (Mon) at Darwin Waterfront.
