Very much a town with an emphasis on the tropical lifestyle, Airlie Beach offers exotic surroundings with palm trees and charming, sandy beaches.
Visiting Kayaking & Canoeing and Scuba & Snorkeling will get you outdoors. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Cumberland Charter Yachts and Heart Reef. Step out of Airlie Beach with an excursion to Gloucester Island National Park in Hydeaway Bay--about 56 minutes away. On the 6th (Sat), spend a thrilling day on the water with a speed boat tour.
