A relaxed town of tree-shaded streets and scenic coastal stretches, Broome gained renown as a center of the pearling industry in the late 19th century.
Spend the 7th (Fri) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. On the 9th (Sun), spend a fun day on foot with Walking tours. There's much more to do: kick back and relax at Cable Beach, take an in-depth tour of Broome Historical Museum, look for all kinds of wild species at Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Park and Animal Refuge, and view the masterpieces at The Courthouse Collection.

Calgary, Canada to Broome is an approximately 25-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 15 hours traveling from Calgary to Broome. Plan for somewhat warmer temperatures traveling from Calgary in June, with highs in Broome at 35°C and lows at 19°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 10th (Mon) early enough to travel to Kununurra.
