Geraldton is a coastal city in the Mid West region of Western Australia, located 424km north of Perth.At June 2015 Geraldton had an estimated urban population of 39,825. Get outdoors at Back Beach and South Beach. You'll get in some beach time at Pot Alley Beach and Chinaman's Beach. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Geraldton: Illegal Tender Rum Co (in Dongara), Granny's Beach (in Port Denison) and Kalbarri (Murchison River, Ross Graham Lookout, & more). There's much more to do: brush up on your military savvy at HMAS Sydney II Memorial, examine the collection at The Tin Heads, take an in-depth tour of Monsignor Hawes Heritage Centre, and stroll through Town Beach.

Denham is the administrative town for the Shire of Shark Bay, Western Australia. Relax by the water at Shark Bay and Shell Beach. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Carnarvon Space and Technology Museum and Shark Bay Car Hire. Change things up with a short trip to The Fascine in Carnarvon (about 1h 45 min away). Spend the 18th (Thu) exploring nature at Francois Peron National Park. Get some cultural insight at Vlamingh Head Lighthouse and Potshot Memorial. Take a break from Exmouth with a short trip to Ningaloo Marine Park in Coral Bay, about 52 minutes away. Spend the 27th (Sat) exploring nature at Mandu Mandu Gorge. Take a break from the city and head to Cape Le Grand National Park and Twilight Bay. Esperance Stonehenge and Cindy Poole Glass Gallery are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Get outdoors at Greens Pool and Little Beach. Get a sense of the local culture at National Anzac Centre and Vancouver Arts Centre. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Albany: Lowlands Beach (in Lowlands), Cheynes Beach (in Waychinicup National Park) and Denmark (Anvil Beach, Lights Beach, & more). And it doesn't end there: kick back and relax at Cosy Corner Beach, admire the striking features of The Church of Saint John the Evangelist, take an in-depth tour of Albany's Historic Whaling Station, and explore the striking landscape at The Gap and Natural Bridge.

Visit Meelup Beach and Surfers Point for some beach relaxation. Escape the urban bustle at Lake Cave and Cowaramup Bay.
