Queensland’s biggest town and state capital, Brisbane has an attractive, manicured image based around its riverside aesthetic as well as the contrast between its high-rise center and extensive urban greenery.
On the 24th (Sat), examine the collection at The Workshops Rail Museum, see the interesting displays at Queensland Maritime Museum, and then take a stroll through West End. Keep things going the next day: examine the collection at Opal Museum, enjoy the sand and surf at Shorncliffe Beach, then try out the rides at Wheel of Brisbane, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Catholic Old St. Stephen's Church (chapel), and finally stop by Noosa Chocolate Factory.
