Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Start off your visit on the 10th (Mon): enjoy the sand and surf at Emu Point, then appreciate the history behind Desert Mounted Corps Memorial, then learn about winemaking at Singlefile Wines, and finally stop by The Denmark Heritage Cider Company. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: see majestic marine mammals with a dolphin and whale watching tour.

Singapore, Singapore to Albany is an approximately 11-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight, train, and bus. Walpole is a town in the south-western region of Western Australia, located approximately south southeast of Perth and west of Denmark.Location and descriptionWalpole lies very close to the northern point of the 100ha Walpole Inlet, from which it takes its name.The inlet in turn is named for the Walpole River, discovered in 1831 by Captain Thomas Bannister, and named by Governor Stirling for Captain W. On the 12th (Wed), browse the exhibits of Petrichor Gallery, delve into the lush surroundings at Giant Tingle Tree, and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Mandalay Beach. On the next day, explore the striking landscape of Walpole-Nornalup National Park.
