Kick off your visit on the 10th (Mon): admire nature's extreme beauty at Breakaways Conservation Park, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Serbian Orthodox Church, then admire the landmark architecture of Faye's Underground Home, and finally see the interesting displays at Umoona Opal Mine & Museum.

Get a sense of the local culture at Old Oval Estate and Fox Creek Wines. Visit Aldinga Beach and Glenelg Beach for some beach relaxation. Get out of town with these interesting Adelaide side-trips: McLaren Vale (Wirra Wirra Vineyards & Primo Estate). There's much more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Henley Beach, wander the streets of North Terrace, browse the eclectic array of goods at Adelaide Central Market, and discover the riches below the earth's surface at Unique Opal Mine Pty Ltd.

One of the cities of the Barossa Valley wine-producing region, Tanunda has an easygoing atmosphere stemming from its close connection with agriculture and viniculture.
On the 14th (Fri), contemplate the long history of Langmeil Winery, do a tasting at Rockford Winery, then learn about winemaking at Chateau Tanunda, and finally do a tasting at Tscharke's Place. Keep things going the next day: do a tasting at Peter Lehmann Wines, then do a tasting at Whistler Wines, then learn about winemaking at Murray Street Vineyards, and finally do a tasting at Two Hands Wines Cellar Door.

Getting from Adelaide to Tanunda by car takes about 1.5 hours. Other options: do a combination of train and bus; or take a bus. In June, plan for daily highs up to 18°C, and evening lows to 7°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 15th (Sat) early enough to go by car to Clare.

On the 16th (Sun), stroll through Riesling Trail, then view the masterpieces at Vine Art Studio, Gallery & Therapeutic Massage, then learn about winemaking at Kilikanoon Winery, and finally learn about winemaking at Sevenhill Cellars.
