Go for a jaunt from Hobart to Brighton to see Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary about 30 minutes away. On the 3rd (Sun), give your taste buds a day to remember with a local gastronomic tour. The adventure continues: admire the natural beauty at Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens, examine the collection at Museum of Old and New Art, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mount Wellington, and take in the views from Richmond Bridge.

Sydney to Hobart is an approximately 4.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train, ferry, and bus; or do a combination of bus and ferry. Traveling from Sydney in November, things will get a bit cooler in Hobart: highs are around 22°C and lows about 11°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 5th (Tue) so you can go by car to Port Arthur.
