Queensland’s biggest town and state capital, Brisbane has an attractive, manicured image based around its riverside aesthetic as well as the contrast between its high-rise center and extensive urban greenery.
Start off your visit on the 17th (Sat): take in nature's colorful creations at City Botanic Gardens, then stroll around Roma Street Parkland, then walk around South Bank Parklands, and finally get your game on at Psychic Readings Twin Featherz. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 18th (Sun): take some stellar pictures from Mount Coot-tha Lookout, identify plant and animal life at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, and then take in nature's colorful creations at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt. A holiday in Port Douglas balances an activity-filled getaway with plenty of opportunities to relax, thanks to its proximity to the Great Barrier Reef and bustling beach life.
Start off your visit on the 19th (Mon): identify plant and animal life at Hartley's Crocodile Adventures, then identify plant and animal life at Wildlife Areas, and then look for gifts at With Sugar. Cape Tribulation

A lush headland that's part of the forested Daintree Region, Cape Tribulation was so named by Lieutenant--later Captain--Cook in 1770, when his ship ran aground in the area.
On the 21st (Wed), tour the pleasant surroundings at Dubuji Boardwalk, enjoy the sand and surf at Myall Beach, then take in the pleasant sights at Marrdja Botanical Walk, and finally take a pleasant ride with a tour on horseback.

Traveling by car from Port Douglas to Cape Tribulation takes 2 hours. In August in Cape Tribulation, expect temperatures between 31°C during the day and 19°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 21st (Wed) so you can go by car to Cairns.

A neat, cosmopolitan city of shaded plazas and laid-back neighborhoods, Cairns serves as a popular base for exploration of the surrounding region and the Great Barrier Reef, as well as a center for watersport activities like surfing or waterskiing.
Start off your visit on the 22nd (Thu): discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at St Monica's Cathedral, and then take in the dramatic natural features at Earl Hill.
