George Town is a large town in north-east Tasmania, on the eastern bank of the mouth of the Tamar River. Kick off your visit on the 9th (Sun): do a tasting at Moores Hill Estate, stop by Goaty Hill Wines, learn about winemaking at Iron Pot Bay Vineyard, then do a tasting at Holm Oak Vineyards, and finally browse the exhibits of Tamar Valley Art Shack.
