Snaking up the side of a rounded, tree-dotted hill, Hobart sits between Tasmania’s sprawling mountains and the vast estuary of the River Derwent.
Do your shopping at Salamanca Market and Nutpatch. Attractions like Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary and Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery make great kid-friendly stops. There's much more to do: admire the natural beauty at Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mount Wellington, browse the fresh offerings at Farm Gate Market, and browse the different shops at Cat and Fiddle Arcade.

Singapore, Singapore to Hobart is an approximately 13-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight.
