Kick off your visit on the 30th (Sun): hunt for treasures at Fremantle Markets, then enjoy the sand and surf at Cottesloe Beach, then enjoy the sand and surf at Scarborough Beach, and finally contemplate the long history of The Fremantle Round House.

A low-rise, laid-back town of approximately 4,500 inhabitants, Margaret River serves as an ideal local base to explore the surrounding wine region.
Kick off your visit on the 1st (Mon): enjoy the sea views from Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, Head underground at Jewel Cave, Head underground at Lake Cave, then explore the fascinating underground world of Mammoth Cave, and finally stop by Mukau Giftware & Gallery. Keep things going the next day: enjoy the sand and surf at Cowaramup Bay and then awaken your taste buds at some of the top wineries in the area.

Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Kick off your visit on the 3rd (Wed): explore the striking landscape at The Gap and Natural Bridge, kick back and relax at Little Beach, then tour the pleasant surroundings at Middleton Beach, and finally admire the landmark architecture of The Church of Saint John the Evangelist.

Getting from Margaret River to Albany by car takes about 4.5 hours. Other options: take a bus; or do a combination of bus and flight. In July, plan for daily highs up to 61°F, and evening lows to 44°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 3rd (Wed) so you can travel to Broome.

A relaxed town of tree-shaded streets and scenic coastal stretches, Broome gained renown as a center of the pearling industry in the late 19th century.
On the 4th (Thu), get engrossed in the history at Broome Historical Museum, stop by The Sandalwood Gallery Broome, then stroll through Cable Beach, and finally explore the striking landscape at Gantheaume Point. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 5th (Fri): see majestic marine mammals with a dolphin and whale watching tour and then identify plant and animal life at Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Park and Animal Refuge.

You can fly from Albany to Broome in 5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus, train, and flight; or drive.
