A relaxed town of tree-shaded streets and scenic coastal stretches, Broome gained renown as a center of the pearling industry in the late 19th century.
Start off your visit on the 8th (Mon): stroll the grounds of Chinese Cemetery, then stroll the grounds of Japanese Cemetery, then kick back and relax at Cable Beach, and finally view the masterpieces at The Courthouse Collection. On the 9th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Catholic Diocese of Broome, then take an in-depth tour of Broome Historical Museum, and then take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports.

Sydney to Broome is an approximately 8.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and train. The time zone changes from Australian Eastern Standard Time (New South Wales) to Australian Western Standard Time, which is usually a -2 hour difference. When traveling from Sydney in July, plan for much hotter days in Broome, with highs around 35°C, while nights are a bit warmer with lows around 17°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 9th (Tue) to allow time to travel to Kununurra.

Exmouth

Exmouth is a town on the tip of the North West Cape in Western Australia. Kick off your visit on the 12th (Fri): visit a coastal fixture at Vlamingh Head Lighthouse, get interesting insight from Tours, and then browse the different shops at Ross Street Mall Shopping Centre Exmouth.
